Woman Pursues Career Goals After Mileage Reimbursement Resources

Huron County – When Sarah Flowers came to GST Michigan Works! she had a clear goal in mind for the next step in her career. Sarah was interested in pursuing a career helping others and fulfilling her passion for making a difference in others lives, no matter how small. After working through assessments with Career Coach Jo Dohning, Sarah was enrolled in CNA training through Great Lakes Medical Training.  

“It was a long drive three days a week, but GST Michigan Works! mileage reimbursement helped make it easier to work out that issue.” Sarah said.  “I would like GST Michigan Works! to know I truly appreciate the help getting me to where I am now with all of the services and guidance they provided.  I am now working full time at Harbor Beach Long Term Care and Rehabilitation facility.”
