Stepping Into Work at AAT

Sanilac County – Alex Vernarsky had an interest in the electrical trades, and was ready to begin the Step Into Work training program.

Advanced Auto Trends in Snover decided to give Alex the opportunity to train with their machine maintenance/repair and machine building department. Alex is doing extremely well, has moved into an extended Step Into Work training period, and will be hired full time by AAT, early in 2021.

Alex has been not only been learning basic machine electrical/mechanical maintenance and repair, but also welding and fabrication. He will be trained and licensed in forklift and overhead crane operation, robotics integration, and camera/machine vision system integration.

Advance Auto Trends will also provide classroom training for Alex in 2021, in basic machining, and electronic PLC controls. AAT builds robotic and camera inspection cells in house, and Alex will be trained in the advanced skills of building and integration in these areas. The company intends to provide Alex with the opportunity for a long successful career in machine maintenance, repair, and building!
