Summer Job Fair in Tuscola County

A Multiple Employer Job Fair came together on July 12th, under the pavilion in downtown Caro. Five manufacturing and healthcare employers participated and were visited by 38 job seekers. This job fair was considered very successful due to the number of job seekers who attended and were offered employment. Approximately 18 interviews were set up and 12 job seekers were hired on the spot. The food truck, The Chuck Wagon, was located onsite and assisted in attracting people who came to purchase their lunch! While they were there, they visited the employers and referred friends and family members who were looking for work.
