Blueprint Training Boosts Confidence and Accuracy at H&H Tool
As a high-volume machine shop, H&H Tool operates CNC machines to produce more than four million parts each month. With such high production demands, it’s essential that employees can read and interpret blueprints accurately to ensure efficiency and precision.
Thanks to a $5,815 award from the Going PRO Talent Fund, H&H Tool provided specialized blueprint reading training to six employees. The training focused on how blueprints are created and dimensioned, and how those details directly affect production processes.
Employees reported a noticeable shift in how they approached blueprints, gaining a new perspective that deepened their understanding of component structure and functional requirements.
One key takeaway was that the training boosted employee confidence. By learning more about a tool they use daily, the team not only sharpened their technical skills but also strengthened their ability to work efficiently and accurately on the shop floor.
This targeted investment in training supports not only individual growth, but also overall shop performance, ensuring H&H Tool continues to deliver high-quality parts at high volume.
