FY25 Going PRO Talent Fund Boosts Skilled Trades Training
Allied Industrial Group, a family-owned leader in precision manufacturing, continues to demonstrate its commitment to building a highly skilled workforce. On December 4, 2024, the company was notified that it had been awarded support through the FY25 Going PRO Talent Fund, enabling significant investment in high-level skilled trades training tailored to the advanced manufacturing sector. From the earliest planning stages through reimbursement, GST Michigan Works! Business Solutions Professional Roy Reynolds guided and coached the team at Allied Industrial Group every step of the way. Roy’s support ensured AIG’s training plan aligned with the Going PRO Talent Fund program requirements and positioned AIG for success.
Allied Industrial Group successfully implemented several training courses from its approved training plan through the year 2025, and on March 5, 2026, received $14,454.00 in reimbursement for its completed training. In 2026, the benefits of that investment continue to strengthen productivity, quality, and safety across the organization.
The training funded through the program enhanced capabilities across multiple departments, supporting growth in skilled trades, quality systems, machining, administrative processes, leadership development, and advanced safety protocols. These ongoing improvements help Allied Industrial Group meet customer expectations and maintain a competitive edge in Michigan’s Advanced Manufacturing sector.
“Our investment in people continues to pay off every day,” said Andrew Auch, Quality Manager at Allied Industrial Group. “The Going PRO Talent Fund allowed us to grow internal talent in ways that directly support our long-term success, and the guidance we received from GST Michigan Works! made the process seamless.”
As Allied Industrial Group moves through 2026, the company remains dedicated to expanding its capabilities and supporting employee advancement. The impact of the FY25 Going PRO Talent Fund, strengthened by the guidance from the team at GST Michigan Works!, continues to shape a stronger and more resilient workforce.
