Through various fact-finding sessions, meetings, and projects with area employers, a consistent theme has emerged: instability within the entry level workforce.

Turnover rates are high, and workers appear to be more transient than in the past. If this is in fact a common concern, it may be an opportunity to develop one or more industry led collaboratives to address the issue. Several years ago, a very successful manager training program was fielded as a Going Pro ILC, and the time may be ripe to launch a similar effort.

We will determine the need, scope, and focus for one or more industry led collaboratives, and the process, timeframes, and next steps.
