Going PRO Training Boosts Robotics Expertise at Urgent Design

In the fast-paced world of advanced manufacturing, keeping up with the latest robotics technology is essential to maintaining efficiency and competitiveness. For Urgent Design, a company that utilizes both FANUC and KUKA robotics in its production processes, training employees on these sophisticated systems was a critical need.

Support from the Going PRO Talent Fund enabled Urgent Design to send seven employees to receive advanced training and certification through FANUC Academy and KUKA Robotics Corporation. This training provided hands-on experience in programming, robotic welding, and operations — key skills that enable the company to handle programming in-house and significantly reduce turnaround time.

“Without the Going PRO funding, we would have only been able to train one or two employees,” a company representative shared. “Being able to certify seven team members has made an incredible difference. We’ve strengthened our ability to maintain consistent production levels and minimize downtime.”
