High-Speed Equals High Growth

 

Founded in 2001, DayStarr Communications is a locally owned Internet and phone service provider in Shiawassee and Clinton Counties.  DayStarr serves both private and business customers with high-speed internet, cloud-based business phone systems, and other wholesale services. These offerings have made Owosso a “GIG” city.

As the company grows and technology changes, the need for more upskilling and advanced training is constant. To help fill this skills gap, DayStarr applied for and was awarded the Going PRO Talent Fund for Cycle 1 of 2025. 

Using $4,725.00 of their award, DayStarr was able to invest in training at a critical time of growth and network modernization. The training resulted in industry-recognized credentials and technical training in both customer service and network expertise areas. Using this training, DayStarr can provide customers with the most highly trained employees to work on their behalf.

DayStarr was awarded the Going PRO Talent Fund in previous years and stated they will be applying again to maintain the most highly trained staff.
