Are you a real estate developer or real estate agent/broker? Are you a home builder? Are you a City Manager or Zoning Administrator? Do you own vacant acreage or city lots? Are you committed to moving our regional economy forward? If so, please join us for the Thumb Area Developers Day to discuss how to provide mid-level housing for our local communities.
One of the challenges identified through the Business & Community Leaders Forum brainstorming sessions was the need for more starter or mid-level housing for our local workforce. Some area employers have lost good staff members due to their inability to secure a suitable home for their family.
The Thumb Area Developers Day will bring together subject matter experts to cover various aspects of starter and mid-level housing development throughout the region.

These subject matter experts and more will then lead us through a roundtable discussion on how to bring needed mid-level housing to our communities. Available housing is the foundation of a strong economy, supporting employers, providing customers for local businesses, and providing students for our local school districts.
