Genesee County Community Action Resource Department (GCCARD) is a county department whose primary goal is to eliminate barriers and advocate for the poor, seniors, and children. GCCARD has dedicated and committed staff that support the mission of the organization, which is to break the cycle of poverty. The Genesee County Community Action Resource Department operates a wide array of quality services and works effectively to meet the needs of low-income residents, families, seniors, and children through our Head Start Program, Nutrition Program, USDA Supplemental Food Program, Weatherization Program, and their Neighborhood Services Center. As a Community Action Agency for Genesee County, GCCARD is a member of the Michigan Community Action Association and works in collaboration with many public, private, and non-profit organizations to carry out our programs and to address the needs of low-income residents in our community. GCCARD is currently looking to fill the following positions:
- Kitchen Aide
- Mobile Meals Driver
- Retrofit Installer
- Senior Food Driver
- Transportation Aide
