The growing aspect of our farm offers many positions in our company, a few examples are the staking crew; they are responsible for staking all of our newly planted trees and removing stakes from older trees, the Yard Crew; this crew has many responsibilities such as picking for orders, trimming and fertilizing, potting and weeding, Field Crew; this crew works with a leader to fulfill orders for customers. NOW HIRING:

Elk River Hops is looking to build a core of skilled agricultural workers to contribute to the company’s growth. Training opportunities in general specialty crop management are provided. While the majority of positions are part-time seasonal, there is a possibility of 9-month employment. The peak staffing period is mid-April through late May, and mid-August through mid-September. The majority of the work is outdoors and is generally physical in nature. Experience with agriculture implements a plus.

Hop-yard technician – 35/40 hrs per week during peak staffing periods (starting at $12/hr).
Hop-yard manager – 35/40 hrs per week during peak staffing periods; 25/30 hrs per week during non-peak periods (April through December) (up to $15/hr)
