It’s tax season! Get your taxes done for free at GST MI Works! Families in Genesee and Shiawassee counties can file their taxes for free with an IRS-certified volunteer through United Way’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. This program is run in partnership with the IRS to help families claim available tax credits to improve financial stability. To participate in this program, please make an appointment for any Wednesday between February 1st – April 5th, by emailing cases@flint.org.
