Be Ready For These Interviewer Techniques

Interviewers may use different techniques in order to gain the information that they want to know about you.

The question and answer method is the typical interview format. The questions the interviewer asks may be straightforward or they may be tricky. In any event, the interviewer directs the interview, but you can answer these questions to highlight your strengths.

In other situations, you may find yourself in an interview where the employer is unprepared or seems unsure of what questions to ask. Not everyone is a skilled interviewer. In this case, you will have to do your best to keep the interview focused on your interests and abilities, and to find out what you need to know about the job opening.

In yet other interview situations you will be asked questions about how you acted in a specific situation, like how did you resolve a conflict, or how well you were able to solve a problem. In these types of situations the interviewer is looking for evidence of your responsibility or your ability to learn from mistakes.
