Multi-Employer Job Fair in Huron

Huron County – GST Michigan Works! hosted a Multi-Employer Job Fair in Huron County at the Gathering Place on November 8th.  There were 14 Employers representing a variety of industries, including: Healthcare, Manufacturing, Food Service, Agriculture, and Electrical.  When asked about the job fair from an Employer perspective, one business representative stated, “The chance to speak to someone showing up on their own, face-to-face is incomparable!”  Employers were pleased with the turnout and had scheduled follow-up interviews with attendees.  

There were a variety of Job Seekers who attended the Job Fair across multiple demographics, including: older workers, younger workers, Veterans, job seekers returning to work after taking some time off, and those looking for both part-time and full-time employment.
