GPTF Bolsters Efficiency
Advanced Decorative Systems (ADS US Inc.) is a global leader in the design and manufacture of decorative plastics for the automotive, medical, and consumer markets. With approximately 57 full-time employees at their location in Millington’s Industrial Park, ADS US recognizes the importance of continuous improvement to stay competitive.
Recently, they identified a critical need to enhance their finance and accounting functions. To address this, they determined that Macola software training for five key employees would be a valuable solution for increasing efficiency and better managing operational data.
A Business Solutions Professional from GST Michigan Works! reached out to Wayne Morey, Managing Director, at ADS US to remind them of the upcoming Going PRO Talent Fund FY24 Cycle 1 application period. The timing was perfect, and following the grant award, ADS US was able to proceed with the selected five-module Macola training. All five individuals successfully completed the training.
The five trainees earned certificates in the following Macola modules: Part Costing/Inventory Value, Budgeting, Forecasting, P&L Balance Sheet, and Report Writing & Analysis. ADS US Inc. received a reimbursement for the full Going PRO award amount of $3,900.00.
Wayne noted, “The training provided a deeper understanding of the Macola system and each module, which can be challenging for reporting and recording accounting data.” He also added, “The training hours provided to our employees and management staff have made navigating our ERP system much easier.”
