The Right Training For the Right Job

As the footprint for Memorial Healthcare expands not only in Shiawassee County but throughout the surrounding area, many new employees are needed in these facilities. Some have all the required skills, while others may need a little help to get up to speed. This is when Memorial reaches out to GST Michigan Works! (GSTMW) for assistance with the On-the-Job -Training (OJT) program. GSTMW was able to implement customized training plans for several of its newly hired personnel to become more productive in their new positions. GSTMW was able to award $4,322.40 to Memorial to help with this training. Memorial Healthcare has been using the OJT program along with other programs offered through GST Michigan Works! for several years to ensure they have the best people in place to do the job properly.
