Deborah Smith Energy Partners is a very small company, consisting of the President & CEO, and the Director of Operations. This was severely limiting their growth potential, as Deborah was forced to spend more time working in the business than growing the business. Utilizing an OJT through the Going Pro Talent Fund, DSEP was able to hire their first Office Coordinator, who is now handling the process of converting new jobs to vendor purchase orders to customer invoicing and payments. This has not only increased DSEP’s capacity to take on more business but has also established a greater work/life balance within the company. Megan, DSEP’s newest employee, is very pleased with her decision to join Deborah Smith Energy Partners; as this has given her both an increased salary and a reduced commute. She is much happier in her new role with Deborah Smith Energy Partners and looks forward to learning and growing with this young company.

Hiring an office coordinator has unleashed the growth of DSEP to such an extent that they will need to hire a Logistics Coordinator and possibly a Project Manager in 2024.
